It All Started with Hard Work & Dedication

Our story began with the American Dream. Carlos Kal started as a busser in New York City, working tirelessly and dreaming big. His perseverance led him to purchase his first restaurant, Takoyaki, in Cleveland, TN, many years later. Now, 20 years later, Carlos and his wife Eunice own three restaurants and a catering business in Chattanooga, TN.

Kals Group's success is built on the dedication and passion of our incredible team. We bring experiential dining to Chattanooga with fresh sushi made to order at Totto Sushi & Grill, gauchos serving grilled meat straight off the grill at Rodizio Grill Hamilton Place, and tableside cooking of premium dry-aged meat at Zaya 1943 Korean Steakhouse.
